MEQUON, Wisconsin – The 13th-ranked MSOE men's volleyball team suffered a 14-25, 25-16, 23-25, 28-26, 15-11 defeat at the hands of Concordia Wisconsin in its NACC opener Wednesday night at Buuck Fieldhouse.

The Raiders (4-3, 0-1 NACC) and Falcons (5-2, 1-0 NACC) alternated the first four sets before the hosts were able to take the fifth set for the win.

Three players led the way with nine kills each. Freshman Ben Pung hit .444 with just one error in 18 attacks while junior Jake Christensen added three service aces. Senior Quin Krisik rounded out the trio, adding 19 assists.

James Althoff led CUW with a match-high 14 kills and 17 digs.

MSOE did not struggle on the attack, hitting .254 on the night with 51 kills against 20 errors in 122 attacks. The Red & White notched 13 service aces in the match but suffered through 31 errors from the service line. Concordia hit .204 with nine aces against 15 errors.

The Raiders return to action Friday, hosting Illinois Tech.
