HOW IT HAPPENED
No. 6 MSOE (6-0) had no major issues against Augustana (7-5) as the Vikings did as much damage to themselves as the Raiders did. The Red & White ended the match with just 32 kills thanks to 27 attacking errors from the players on the other side of the net. Augustana also had 12 service errors, which led to a combined 39 free points that went towards the Raiders cause. MSOE had 14 errors on the serve but made up for it with a steady and focused attack that only tallied 10 miscues over the course of the three sets played. The Red & White hit a combined .301 as a team, lead by Austyn Bella who attacked to the tune of .500 off of 14 total attempts. The match only took 1:09 from start to finish as MSOE won in three straight by the scores of 25-20, 25-18, and 25-22.
