#11 MSOE – 3 (25, 25, 25)
HOW IT HAPPENED
Though there was some back and forth early in each match, No. 11 MSOE (4-0, 0-0 NACC) was in firm control of tonight's contest against Trine (3-5, 0-0 MCVL) in the two teams first ever matchup. The Raiders hit .380 as a squad and were led by Austyn Bella who had 13 kills and a .400 attack percentage. Each team limited their errors, as both squads had exactly 12 on each side of the net. The difference was the Red & White's attack game. MSOE had almost 30 more kills than the Thunder, allowing them to build up multi-point leads that were able to withstand several small rallies that Trine was able to put together. However, one area that the Raiders will have to improve in is their service game. Through four games they are averaging 22.8 service errors per match. Regardless, MSOE was able to take care of business tonight and move to 4-0 on the young season.
