Box Score MEQUON, Wis. – MSOE men's volleyball finally got their conference season underway as they took on Concordia Wisconsin on the road in their first NACC battle. The Raiders easily disposed of the Falcons in three sets, earning their first conference win in 2020.
RESULTS
No. 15 MSOE – 3 (25, 25, 25)
Concordia Wisconsin – 0 (16, 21, 15)
HOW IT HAPPENED
No. 15 MSOE (9-5, 1-0 NACC) had no problem taking care of the ball this evening, limiting their errors to give them a .297 team attack percentage during the match. Concordia Wisconsin (8-7, 2-3 NACC) on the other hand didn't have a single set in which they hit in positive figures and earned a -.058 overall mark to show for it. What was more impressive was the amount of kills the Raiders were able to gather in just three sets. The Red & White had 16 kills in the first set, 14 in the second, and 16 again in the third to give them an impressive total of 46. While that isn't close to a program record, it's certainly one way to ensure that you're going to come away with the victory. While they still had issues with their service game, MSOE was able to earn six aces in their straight set victory over their rivals just north of the city.
