MILWAUKEE, Wis. – The math was simple. Win and you get a home match to start the postseason. The Raiders did not need much more incentive than that as they quickly dismissed the Scarlet Hawks of Illinois Tech and locked down the third seed in the NACC tournament.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Matches do not get much easier than tonight. MSOE (9-7, 8-3 NACC) went wire to wire with the lead and ended up with only one tie early on in the third set. The Raiders had their best hitting frame of the night in the first when they attacked to the tune of .333 and had 12 kills compared to Illinois Tech's (3-7, 3-7 NACC) four. In fact, the Red & White had double digit kills in each set, going no lower than the ten they had in the third. MSOE controlled the ball off the serve, laying down nine aces while also dominating at the nets with eight team blocks as opposed to the Scarlet Hawks three. The Raiders complete the regular season with eight 3-0 wins including tonight's straight sets sweep of Illinois Tech.
