Box Score MILWAUKEE – MSOE men's volleyball had revenge on their mind when they welcomed CUW to the Kern Center this evening. After falling to the Falcons to end their season last year in the NACC playoffs, the Raiders dropped the first set before running the table in their 3-1 victory on Friday night.
RESULT
Concordia Wisconsin – 1 (25 | 19 | 17 | 17)
MSOE RAIDERS – 3 (21 | 25 | 25| 25)
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (9-6, 4-1 NACC) simply got outplayed in their set one loss. The Raiders hit .077 while Concordia Wisconsin (6-7, 4-3 NACC) had 17 kills and won the frame by four points.
- The Red & White stepped things up from that point on however and never looked back. The Raiders had double digits kills in the second, third, and fourth sets for a combined total of 43.
- While the Falcons hung with the Raiders in the second set, MSOE was dominate in the third and fourth. They committed just five total errors in those two frames and led pretty much wire to wire as the Red & White avenge their season ending loss from last year.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The Raiders got back on the right path against the Falcons and are now 6-2 all-time against their rivals to the north.
