HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (10-7, 5-2 NACC) rebounded nicely this evening after their 3-1 loss to Benedictine on Wednesday night inside the Kern Center. The Raiders hit .287 as a team and had 17 more kills than Rockford (3-19, 0-8 NACC).
- The Red & White won the first and third sets via 25-17 decisions. The Raiders had 15 kills in the first frame of the evening and hit a game high .478. Their third set was the least successful in terms of offense with seven errors, but the MSOE defense never let the Regents register double digit kills in any period throughout the night.
- Rockford gave the Raiders the most trouble in the second but a large run allowed the Red & White to safely put the set in their win column and would go on to sweep the match in straight sets.
RAIDER REMARKS
- Tonight marked just the second time that these two ballclubs have met out on the court. MSOE has won both of those contests by the score of 3-0.
