Box Score AURORA, Ill. – With just five games remaining in the NACC regular season, each one matters down the stretch for MSOE men's volleyball and their playoff seeding. The Raiders helped out their chances by downing Aurora in a five-set thriller on Saturday afternoon on the road.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (11-7, 6-2 NACC) and Aurora (11-9, 5-3 NACC) were each on the top of their offensive games in what turned out to be an absolute slugfest south of the Wisconsin boarder. The afternoon started out with the Red & White winning the first two sets, although the opening frame went to extra points before the Raiders came away with the 28-26 decision.
- The Spartans wouldn't go down without a fight though and proceeded to win the next two sets via 26-24 and 25-23 scores.
- With the match coming down to a winner take all game five, the Red & White hit .333 with eight kills. Aurora had ten of their own, but MSOE was able to win five of the last eight available points for the victory in a match that went the distance.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The Red & White have now won six straight games against the Spartans dating back to 2018.
- The two squads combined for 135 total kills.
- Austyn Bella's 27 kills is the third highest total for a single match in Raiders history.
