Box Score NEW PALTZ, N.Y. – MSOE men's volleyball played in their second game in as many days when they took on New Paltz State on Wednesday afternoon. It was another close contest for the Red & White but they just couldn't quite catch up to the Hawks on the road.

MSOE RAIDERS – 0 (23 | 20 |21)
New Paltz St. – 3 (25 | 25 | 25)
HOW IT HAPPENED
- Set one saw MSOE (7-4, 3-0 NACC) hit .222 with 10 kills but New Paltz State (14-3, 3-0 SUNYAC) one upped the Red & White with 14. MSOE was within two points down the stretch but fell 25-23 to start the match.
- The common thread of NPS always being one step ahead carried over to the last two frames as well. The Raiders had a team high .455 attack clip in the second set but couldn't climb out of an early eight-point deficit in a 25-20 loss.
- The Red & White tried to turn the tables and took an early lead in the final set but the Hawks quickly negated that with a 7-0 run to sweep the Raiders with a final win of 25-21.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The Raiders have yet to come away with a victory against New Paltz. They are 0-3 with their two other losses coming during the 2015 and 2018 seasons.
