Box Score KENOSHA, Wis. – MSOE men's volleyball traveled to take on No. 3 Carthage on Tuesday for their last non-conference matchup of the 2022 season. Unfortunately, too many errors prevented the Raiders from taking down one of the top teams in the country as the Red & White fell in straight sets.

MSOE RAIDERS – 0 (18 | 17 | 23)
No. 3 Carthage – 3 (25 | 25 | 25)
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (14-8, 8-2 NACC) had a rough start in their match against No. 3 Carthage (16-3, 10-0 CCIW), committing six errors and hitting just .125 in their first set. That would be a theme that carried on throughout the contest as they started off with a 25-18 loss.
- Set two was more of the same with the Raiders turning in six more errors, though they reached double figures in kills with 10. The middle frame was also their best attacking one of the night, but they still dropped it to the Firebirds 25-17.
- MSOE tried to force a fourth set and led most of the way in the third against Carthage but were unable to pull out the victory. Tied at 23-23, the Firebirds rattled off the last two points of the match and took down the Red & White 25-23.
RAIDER REMARKS
- Carthage has had the Raiders number throughout the series history and are 9-1 against MSOE in their last ten meetings.
