Box Score 2 HOBOKEN, N.J. – Participating in their only tri-match of the trip, MSOE men's volleyball was looking to take away a pair of wins to go 2-2 overall on the East Coast. Unfortunately, they'll have to settle for a 1-3 record as they split the day's action against Arcadia and No. 5 Stevens.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- vs. Arcadia
- MSOE (8-5, 3-0 NACC) put together an excellent team effort against Arcadia (7-12, 4-2 MAC), hitting .465 as a squad, including a second set performance of .577.
- While the Knights outkilled the Raiders in two out of the three sets, the Red & White took care of the ball and committed just five errors on the afternoon. In comparison, Arcadia had a total of 21.
- Jacob Sirny turned in a historic performance and registered the third highest attack percentage in a single match when he hit .812 with 13 kills and no errors. Lucas Miller had 20 assists and Daniel Drag led all players with 11 digs in the 3-0 winning effort.
- vs. No. 5 Stevens
- Things were a little different against the fifth best team in the country, Stevens (16-3, 4-0 MAC). While MSOE still put in a solid performance on offense (.247 percentage), the Ducks powered through with 42 kills in the match.
- The Raiders kept things interesting, however. They were within four points in each of the first two sets before dropping the deciding frame 25-17.
- Austyn Bella tied all players with a game high 10 kills and Sirny had five combined blocks in the Raiders 3-0 loss.
WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders will return to NACC play on Wednesday when they head to Marian to take on the Sabres. First serve is scheduled for 7:00 pm from Fond du Lac, Wis.
