Box Score MILWAUKEE – The Cougars of Concorida Chicago were in town on Saturday afternoon as MSOE men's volleyball wrapped up their 2022 regular season. While CUC provided good competition, it wasn't anything that the Raiders couldn't handle in their 3-0 win inside the Kern Center.
RESULT
Concorida Chicago – 0 (22 | 19| 21)
MSOE RAIDERS – 3 (25 | 25 | 25)
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (15-9, 9-3 NACC) was efficient this afternoon against visiting Concordia Chicago (7-19, 6-6 NACC), a team that will finish the season on the outside looking in for the playoffs. The Raiders hit .266 as a squad and never committed more than five errors in a set.
- Still, the Cougars weren't pushovers. CUC stayed within a few points at all times throughout the afternoon and had the first set tied at 22-22 before the Red & White rattled off three straight points.
- The Raiders had a little more breathing room in the second and third sets, though they did trail for a period of time in the final frame of the day. Down 17-16, MSOE went on a 9-3 run to close out the match in straight sets and end the regular season on a high note.
