Box Score PLYMOUTH, Wis. – With a long road trip ahead, the MSOE men's volleyball team starts it off with a sweep of Lakeland with heavy defensive play.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (4-5, 2-0 NACC) had its best attacking in the first set going .522. The Raiders took a three point midway through the set to lead 14-11 and used it to their advantage as kills by James Zippay and Tommy Clausz helped extended their even larger to as high as 6 at match point. Lakeland (4-9, 0-2 NACC) tried for a last-ditch comeback, but Carter Shavitz slammed the door shut with a kill to take the first set 25-20.
- Neither team could spark any offense in the second set as the Raiders only had an attacking average of .103, while the Muskies we're shut out .000. This led to a narrow back and forth til late in the set, kills from Alex Cretors and Ted Simpson gave the Raiders a 23-21 lead before a service error from the Muskies on match point ended the set, giving the Raiders a 25-23 victory in set two.
- The Raiders quickly created momentum to start the third set jumping out to a 9-4 lead thanks to many errors from the Muskies. The Red & White kept building up their slowly throughout the rest of the set to complete the sweep, winning 25-15.
RAIDER REMARKS
- This was the first action for the Raiders since February 11th as the dusted off some rust with their halt from competition.
- For the game, the Raiders held the Muskies to a record low .029 attacking percentage, with two set being .000.
