HOW IT HAPPENED
- It was neck and neck to begin as the first set was tied at 12 before Concordia-Wisconsin (10-7, 5-2 NACC) rattled off three straight points which proved to be huge as the set went on. A dump from Nick Stachura tied the set at 24 all to force extra points to be played, as the MSOE (6-12, 4-2 NACC) finished off the set with a 26-24 victory.
- The Falcons took a small lead early and didn't relinquish until late in the second set. A Carter Shavitz killed tied the set late at 22, followed by an Ian Glashagel kill to give the Raiders their first lead of the set, but the Falcons rattled off the final three points they needed for the second set victory.
- The Raiders had a one-point lead early to begin the third set, but the Falcons quickly turned that around. While leading by one, the Falcons rattled off three straight points to push the momentum over to their side, easily finishing off the set to take a 2-1 lead.
- The Raiders would not go down without a fight as they had a 21-17 late in the fourth set to try and force a fifth. Unfortunately, a 4-0 run from the Falcons would eventually lead to extra points needing played, falling in favor of the Falcons to close out the set 29-27 to take the victory.
