Men's and Women's Hockey Add 30 Names to NCHA All-Academic Team

MILWAUKEE – The Northern Collegiate Hockey Association (NCHA) has announced the members of the men's and women's NCHA All-Academic Teams for the 2024-25 school year on Friday, as MSOE saw 30 players earn recognition across the men's and women's hockey teams.

To qualify for the NCHA All-Academic Team, a student-athlete needs to have a 3.30 cumulative grade point average or higher. Freshmen were eligible for the first time this year and must have attended the same institution for both semesters.

The men's hockey team finished with an overall record of 13-10-4, going 7-8-3 in conference play and getting the No. 5 seed in the NCHA Harris Cup Playoffs. The season was highlighted by winning the inaugural Tampa College Hockey Invitational, along with a road victory at #6 St. Norbert College back on January 25th.

The women's hockey team wrapped their first season with an overall record of 4-19-3 and going 3-13-2 in conference play. The Red & White's inaugural season was highlighted by winning the program's first ever game on November 1st at Marian before a week later winning their first home game 3-2 over Lawrence University on November 8th.  The Raiders also held then #4 Adrian scoreless for 65 minutes, falling 1-0 in a shootout on December 14th.
