MILWAUKEE -- Throughout the month of July, Raider Athletics will look back on the Top 10 moments of the 2024-25 seasons.  Coming in at #8 is MSOE Men's Basketball's upset of then #7 Wisconsin Lutheran College on February 12^th.  The Raiders bested the nationally ranked Warriors by a final score of 91-83, as both Mason Dopirak and Ethan Johnson put up 20-point efforts.

WLC took things from the jump, taking a six-point lead three minutes in before a pair of free-throws from Donovan Carter tied the game at 12. The Warriors would take a 19-16 lead just a few minutes later but that would be the last lead they saw as Anay Amoah nailed one from downtown to tie it and Carson Cordelli would give MSOE  the lead nearing the midway point of the first half.

Johnson became a work horse in the paint, scoring 14 first-half points, setting the Red & White up for a nine-point lead at the break, 46-37.  Flames continued for the Raider offense just five minutes into the second half, as the lead stretched to 21 after a pair of free-throws from Dopirak.

The Warriors began to match each shot the Raiders were making, then started heating up from behind the arc as the lead was single digits with under eight remaining. Dopirak helped make it a 13-point game on two separate occasions and after the Warriors cut it to six with under 20 seconds remaining, Carter put the game on ice with two free-throws to seal it.
