Box Score MILWAUKEE - The MSOE lacrosse team fell to Carthage 14-2 Saturday afternoon at Viets Field.
The Raiders (1-2) got two goals from sophomore Clay Gustafson, but could not overcome the Red Men (4-2) on the day.
Carthage led 9-0 at halftime and held a 12-0 lead before Gustafson got MSOE on the board. His second goal capped the game's scoring with just under five minutes remaining in the game.
The Raiders won just 4-of-20 face-offs in the match and conceded a 41-12 shot advantage to the visitors. Sophomore Pat Collins made eight saves in the Red & White net.
Dylan Harris led the Red Men with five goals and an assist in the match. Luke Seydel also had a hat trick with three goals and an assist.
MSOE is back in action Wednesday, hosting Kalamazoo at 6 p.m.
