MILWAUKEE – A couple of Raiders have earned NACC weekly honors as
Graden Jansen and
AJ Springer were recognized for their performances across the week of April 6-12, 2026, as selected by the league's athletics communications professionals. Both have won NACC weekly honors multiple times this season, with Springer being recognized for a third time this season, his first of the outdoor track season, while Jansen earned honors for the fourth time.
Jansen, a junior faceoff specialist, posted another dominant week at the spot, winning 26 of 30 faceoffs while scooping up 12 ground balls in a 20-8 win over Lawrence. The Ballwin, Missouri native followed that up with a 12-for-14 effort with six ground balls in the Raiders's 20-2 win over Beloit. This marks the sixth NACC weekly honor of Jansen's career.
Springer, a junior from Whitefish Bay, Wisconsin, rebroke his MSOE program record and set a new NACC all-time record in the 800-meter run at the UW-La Crosse Phil Esten Challenge. He stopped the clock in 1:51.38 to finish second overall. Springer's time currently ranks 13th on the NCAA Division III performance list and erased the former conference mark of 1:52.50 set by Aurora's Armando Acosta at last year's Augustana (Ill.) Midwest Twilight Final Qualifier. This is the fifth NACC weekly honor in Springer's career.
Jansen and the rest of the men's lacrosse team will host the Falcons of Concordia Wisconsin tonight, April 22
nd at 7:00 P.M.
A group of throwers will compete at the Drake Alternative next Friday, hosted by Wisconsin-Whitewater while Springer and the vast majority will now prepare for the NACC Championship, beginning on May 1st at Wisconsin Lutheran College, with a bulk of the finals coming on the final day.
