Box Score WAUKESHA, Wis. – Welcome back boys. The high-powered MSOE lacrosse offense was out in full force during their first game of the 2020 season, scoring more goals in their first matchup against Carroll than they did in any other game last year. By the time everything was said and done they took down the Pioneers by 22 goals.

HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (1-0, 0-0 MLC) came at Carroll (Wis.) (0-1, 0-0 CCIW) with everything they had in the first quarter, setting the pace for the rest of the game with 10 goals in the opening 15 minutes of play. The Pioneers were able to get one of their own, but Tanner Whipps outscored them by himself, yet alone the five other Raiders that tallied at least one goal. Whipps had three of his four goals in the game in the opening frame, but he wasn't the top goal scorer in the bunch. Jacob Killian tallied five to go along with three assists on 14 shots. The senior scored two in the first and three in the third after scoring just a lone tally all of last season and just two total in his career. Four different netminders saw time in the net, led by none other than Colin Hall who picked up his first win of the season after stopping five of six Carroll attempts in just over 25 minutes of action. All in all, 13 different Raider players scored in a game that saw MSOE tally the fourth most goals in a single game in program history.

WHO'S ON DECK
This was the first and last game of this month, as the Raiders will pick things back up again in March. It will be another road game, this time against Rhodes in Memphis, Tenn. on March 3rd starting at 7:00 pm.
