HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (0-3, 0-0 NACC) played the role of road warriors once again this afternoon, taking part in their third straight away game to start the 2021 season. Unfortunately, today ended with the same result as the first two. The Raiders were put in a hole early by North Central (1-0, 0-0 CCIW) as the Cardinals scored the first four goals of the contest. Kyle Krueger finally got the Red & White on the board with the first of his two goals in the afternoon with about four minutes expired in the second quarter, but the Raiders were unable to string back-to-back goals together the entire contest. Erik Nelson added a pair of goals to help out the offensive attack and Liam Brown tallied assists on two of the five Raider scores, but they just couldn't stop a North Central team that outshot them 49-20 in a 13-5 loss.
