Box Score MILWAUKEE – It seemed like the season just stared yesterday and yet the Raiders honored their seniors before their game with Concordia Chicago as part of their regular season home finale. MSOE sent their upperclassmen off with a bang as the Red & White trounced CUC by 15 goals.
RESULT
Concordia Chicago – 3
MSOE RAIDERS – 18
HOW IT HAPPENED
The pace at which the MSOE (4-8, 4-1 NACC) offense was going to play became quite apparent right off the opening faceoff. Jerred Willhelm smashed a Raiders record by winning a faceoff, securing the groundball, and scoring in just seven seconds, eight ticks quicker than the previous mark set back in 2018. It was off to the races for the Red & White after that point. MSOE scored six opening quarter goals with five of them coming less than four minutes after the start of the game. The Raiders added five more in the second and four in the third, but Concordia Chicago (2-9, 1-4 NACC) ended the Raiders run of 14 unanswered when they got on the board with 1:45 left in the frame. The Cougars added two more but in no way ever threated the Raiders chances of winning today. Liam Brown had four goals, Max Jenney had three, and four different Red & White players had two as MSOE rolls 18-3.
