Box Score MILWAUKEE – MSOE and Concordia Wisconsin squared off for the second time this season on Sunday as the Raiders were looking to lock down the number one seed in the NACC divisional playoffs. Just like the previous matchup, this one went to overtime but the outcome was reversed as the Red & White fall by one in a heartbreaker.

HOW IT HAPPENED
This one was pretty much as even as it could get. MSOE (6-2-0, 6-2-0 NACC North) and Concordia Wisconsin (6-1-1, 6-1-1 NACC North) were virtually tied is every major statistical category this afternoon and those results showed on the scoreboard for over 100 minutes of play. The Raiders led the Falcons by one in shots (23-22) while CUW just beat out the Red & White in corner kicks (6-5). Unfortunately, MSOE was unable to lead in the most important stat of them all: goals. CUW drew first blood very early in the game but the Raiders Joey Schauer answered right back with a penalty kick in the 11th minute to tie the game at 1-1. Schauer would add another shortly thereafter and that Raiders 2-1 lead would stand for the next 70 minutes. The Falcons would tie the game on a questionable call that led to a successful penalty kick though and would go on to win the contest and the top spot for the tournament with a goal three minutes into the second overtime to take the 3-2 victory.

WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders will now take on Marian in the first round of the NACC North Divisional Tournament. The Red & White will host the Sabres this Thursday at Viets Field starting at 7:00 pm.
