MSOE RAIDERS – 8
Aurora – 19
HOW IT HAPPENED
MSOE (5-9, 5-2 NACC) never led in this afternoon's contest as Aurora (10-5, 6-1 NACC) tallied the first three goals and outscored the Raiders 6-2 in the first quarter. The Red & White usually have been able to bounce back in games with a big rally but that never transpired today. The Raiders were able to muster just one goal in the second and faced a 10-3 deficit at halftime. MSOE didn't let the Spartans extend their lead in the third as they matched them goal for goal, but a 4-0 Aurora run to start the fourth sealed the deal on the outcome of the ballgame. Tanner Whipps had three goals and one assist to continue his torrid offensive pace and Thomas Miles stopped nine shots but the Raiders still fell 19-8.
