Box Score AURORA, Ill. – MSOE lacrosse and Aurora battled it out on Saturday with the Spartans coming away with a lopsided victory, but things were much different as the two squads faced off in the NACC tournament semi-finals tonight. The Red & White battled throughout the game with AU but were not able to get that last big push as they fell by three.

MSOE RAIDERS – 10
Aurora – 13
HOW IT HAPPENED
No. 2 seed Aurora (11-5, 6-1 NACC) defeated No. 3 seed MSOE (5-10, 5-2 NACC) by 11 goals on Saturday afternoon, but the Raiders made sure that things would go much differently this time around. The Spartans never led by more than three points in tonight's NACC semifinals matchup as the Red & White were in contention the entire contest. AU would score the first quarters only goal, but the Raiders outscored them 4-2 in the second behind two Tanner Whipps tallies to take a one goal lead heading into halftime. Unfortunately, this is where things got off track. The Spartans came out of the locker rooms with a 4-0 run and outscored MSOE by four in the frame. The Raiders tried to get back to even in the fourth, but Aurora matched them goal for goal as the Red & White see their 2021 campaign end with a respectable 13-10 defeat. Whipps and Liam Brown each had three goals while Sean Finneran stopped 19 shots in the season finale.
