Box Score MADISON, Wis. – After going 2-2-1 to begin the season, MSOE men's soccer was looking to get conference play started off right when they traveled to the state capital to take on Edgewood. The Raiders grounded the Eagles and will head back to Milwaukee with a 2-0 victory to begin NACC action.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (3-2-1, 1-0-0 NACC) took 11 shots in the first frame but couldn't find the back of the net. The Raiders defense held Edgewood (0-4-0, 0-1-0 NACC) to just three attempts, none of which went in.
- The scoreless tie was finally broken in the 57th minute when Daniel D'Amato set up Zach Thompson for a score from ten yards out on the right side.
- The Red & White found the back of the net just over ten minutes later when Jack Van Dyke scored his first goal of the season at 67:18.
- Ron Marchionna stopped both shots that came his way while Brody Ping finished off the contest in net.
RAIDER REMARKS
- The Raiders have now won 11 straight against Edgewood. Their last defeat at the hands of the Eagles came back on October 11, 2011.
