KENOSHA, Wis. – MSOE men's lacrosse took to the turf for the second time this year when they traveled south to take on Carthage. The Firebirds offense was too much for the Raiders though, as the Red & White fall by seven on Wednesday night.

HOW IT HAPPENED

• MSOE (1-1) never led in this evening's contest, though they did keep things close in the first quarter against Carthage (4-0). After a pair of Firebirds goals, the Raiders netted two out of the next three tallies. However, they'd still enter the next frame down 4-2.
• Unfortunately, Carthage really broke things open in the second quarter by outscoring the Red & White 5-0 to take a 9-2 lead into halftime.
• The Raiders went at it goal for goal against the Firebirds after the intermission as each team scored one in the third and two in the fourth. It wasn't nearly enough however, as MSOE drops their first game of the season by a 12-5 decision.

RAIDER REMARKS

• The Raiders have yet to win a game versus the Firebirds and are now 0-11 against them all-time.
