Box Score MEQUON, Wis. – You win some, you lose some. Unfortunately, MSOE men's lacrosse learned this lesson on Wednesday afternoon when they took on Concordia Wisconsin in their last regular season road contest. The Raiders were on the wrong side of a comeback just days after being on the right side of one in an 11-10 loss to the Falcons.
RESULT
MSOE RAIDERS – 10
Concordia Wisconsin – 11
HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (11-3, 6-1 NACC) completed the first quarter with a 3-2 lead over Concordia Wisconsin (9-6, 5-2 NACC) after two goals from Sam Thompson and one from Tanner Whipps. Unfortunately, that lead was short lived as Concordia Wisconsin netted three goals compared to the Raiders one to go into halftime with a 5-4 advantage.
- CUW ran their lead up to two in the third quarter before Peter Russchenberg and Kyle Hedblom went back-to-back to ensure there would be an even playing field for the last 15-minutes of regulation.
- MSOE rattled off three straight goals in the fourth frame after the Falcons began the scoring and took a 10-8 lead. However, Concordia would go on to do to the Raiders what the Red & White did to Benedictine on Saturday. The Falcons scored three unanswered to win the game by a single goal and dealt the Raiders their first conference loss of the season.
RAIDER REMARKS
- Even with the loss the Raiders are locked into the 2022 NACC tournament thanks to Illinois Tech's loss to Benedictine on Wednesday evening.

WHO'S ON DECK
The Raiders will have to wait until the final day of the regular season to see where they will be seeded in the playoffs. They'll try to do that against Aurora, a team that has already clinched at least a share of the NACC title, on Saturday at Viets Field starting at 1:00 pm.
