Box Score MILWAUKEE – MSOE men's lacrosse entered Saturday with a chance to win their first ever NACC championship and secure the top seed in the postseason tournament when they welcomed Aurora to Viets Field. Unfortunately, the Spartans offense was hard to slow down as the Raiders fell in a 14-5 loss.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE and Aurora traded goals to begin the game this afternoon, but it was pretty much all Spartans after that. Aurora quickly ran up a four-goal lead and had outscored the Raiders 7-3 by the time the second quarter was over.
- Things didn't get much better for the Red & White in the second half. The Spartans scored the first four goals of the third frame to put MSOE in an eight tally hole. Overall, AU outscored the Raiders 7-2 in the second half to win the ballgame by nine.
- With the loss, the Raiders will move into the NACC tournament as the fourth seed and will play on the road for the duration of the postseason.

The Raiders will be advancing to the postseason for the third season in a row but to move on to the championship game they'll have to go through the Spartans. The opening faceoff of the semifinals matchup from Aurora, Ill. is slated for 5:00 pm.
