Box Score ELMHURST, Ill. – MSOE men's soccer took one last trip into non-conference play to take on the Bluejays of Elmhurst. The Raiders faced adversity but were up to the challenge, battling back from a 3-0 deficit to end the contest with a 3-3 draw.

HOW IT HAPPENED
- MSOE (6-0-1, 1-0 NACC) was put into unfamiliar territory in the first half of Monday afternoon's game when Elmhurst (3-3-1, 0-0 CCIW) found the scoreboard in the 42nd minute, something that Raider opponents haven't done since the season opener.
- Up 1-0 after 45 minutes, the Bluejays added two more in the early stages of the second frame to grab a commanding 3-0 lead.
- The Red & White refused to go quietly though. Zach Thompson finally got the Raiders on the board in the 69th minute before Nathan Dresen cut the Elmhurst lead down to just one with a tally at 80:50.
- It looked like the Raiders were going to lose for the first time this season, but Thompson came up big and scored with just 53 seconds left to even up the contest at 3-3. Neither team found the scoresheet with what little time was remaining, dealing the Red & White their first non-winning result of the 2022 season but still keeping their unbeaten record intact.
RAIDER REMARKS
- This afternoon marked the first ever meeting between the two teams.
- The Elmhurst tally in the first half snapped a streak of 580 consecutive minutes in which the Raiders hadn't allowed a goal.
