Chokshi, Kerley and Mendez Earn All-NACC Honors

MILWAUKEE – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) has announced the all-conference teams for the 2024-25 women's basketball season, with Mahima Chokshi, Lana Kerley, and Dani Mendez earning all-conference honors representing MSOE.

Chokshi, a junior from Park Ridge, Illinois, earned a first-team selection for the Red and White as the the junior was second in the NACC with 843 minutes on the court, was fourth in the conference in scoring averaging 13.5 points per game, and was top three in the conference in free throw percentage, shooting 82.8% from the charity stripe. Chokshi was also top five across in conference in both steals (2.3) and assists (2.8) per game. She was named NACC player of the week for the week of Dec. 10-16 when she led the Raiders to a 61-54 win over UW-Platteville with 19 points, four rebounds and three assists.  Choksi would eclipse the 20-point mark five times this season, including a brilliant 29-point performance against Concordia Wisconsin in the NACC Tournament Quarterfinal.  This is Chokshi's first first-team honor after being named to the All-NACC second-team last year.

Kerley, a freshman from Frankfort, Illinois, also earned first-team honors as she led the conference in three-point field goals with 61 and was top five in three-point shooting-percentage as she shot 35.9% from beyond the arc. Kerley finished just outside the top five in the conference for overall rebounding and hauled in the second most defensive boards of anyone in the NACC. Kerley would finish with five double doubles for the Raiders, and posted six games with more than 20 points, as the freshman would bring home two NACC Player of the Week awards across the season.

Mendez, a sophomore from Noblesville, Indiana, earns All-NACC honors for the second time in her career with a spot on the second-team, improving on last year's honorable mention.  Mendez proved to be a two-way force for the Raiders, leading the team in offensive rebounds and field goal percentage, while finishing second in blocks, steals and assists.  Mendez posted two double doubles for MSOE this season and led the Raiders with a whopping 129 free throws attempts in her second season with the Red and White.

The Raiders finished the season with a record of 15-12, finishing 10-6 in conference play. Earning the No. 6 seed in the NACC tournament, the Raiders upset No. 3 seed Concordia Wisconsin 78-73 before falling to No. 2 seed Wisconsin Lutheran, who would go on to win the conference tournament.
