MILWAUKEE – The Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) has announced their all-conference teams and major awards for the 2025 men's volleyball season, with four Raiders earning all-conference honors and the coaching staff headed by
Shane Reid being named coaching staff of the year.
Reid is in his tenth season as the head coach of the Raiders and earns his second career coaching staff of the year award, with the previous coming in 2019. With the help of assistant coaches
Jake Oberbruner and
Joe Perez helped lead the team to a 13-11 record so far this season, finishing 10-2 in conference play, the first-time with double-digit wins in conference play since the 2019 season. After being voted fourth in the preseason poll behind teams with national votes, the Raiders finished second in the NACC, winning the opening round of the conference tournament last night against No. 7 seed Concordia University Chicago in four sets.
Tommy Clausz and
Callan Harris both receiving first-team all-conference honors, Clausz his second first-team honors and Harris his first. Clausz ranks third in the NACC in blocks per set with 1.07 and second with 22 solo blocks, along with hitting .330 averaging 1.93 kills per set. Harris was third in the NACC averaging 3.86 kills per set, recording eight double-doubles with kills and digs and set a career twice with 26 kills against Benedictine and Aurora.
Parker Rings and
Seth Thomas each received second-team all-conference honors, with Thomas receiving his first conference honors of his career. Rings, the freshman of the year a season ago, was third in the conference averaging 9.59 assists per set along with averaging .55 blocks per set and 2.04 digs per set. Rings has record 30+ assists in 16 matches this season, including 53 assists against both Benedictine and Aurora. Thomas was second on the team averaging 2.55 kills per set, along with leading the team with 23 service aces. Thomas recorded double-digit kills in nine matches, including setting a career-high 15 kills against Aurora.
The Raiders will be back on the court tomorrow night, April 10
th, for the NACC Semifinal as they host No. 3 seed Benedictine at 7:00 PM.
