MILWAUKEE – Mason Dopirak for the third time this season has been named Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference (NACC) player of the week after his stellar performance on the hardwood for MSOE men's basketball.

Dopirak, a senior guard from Manitowoc, averaged 30.0 points and 9.5 rebounds last week to help the Raiders clinch the No. 1 seed in NACC Men's Basketball Tournament. He kicked off the week with 29 points and 10 rebounds in a 75-67 win over St. Norbert, then barely missed a second double-double with 31 points and nine rebounds in an 84-68 win over Aurora in the regular-season finale. The double-double against St. Norbert was the ninth of Dopirak's career. He shot 57.1 percent (20-of-35) from the field with three 3-pointers and connected of 17 of 21 attempts from the free-throw line.

Dopirak and the Raiders kick off the NACC tournament tonight with No. 8 seed Lakeland University at 7:00 p.m.
